The short version
Lull is a browser. We don't sell your data, we don't run analytics, and we don't phone home. What happens on your machine stays on your machine.
What Lull collects
Nothing about your browsing. Lull has no built-in telemetry, no A/B testing, no attribution pings, and no usage metrics. The app does not contact our servers during normal use.
Update checks ping a versioned URL on our domain to ask "is there a newer build?". This request includes your operating system and current version. We log nothing identifying.
What this website collects
lull-browser.ca is static. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies of our own. Our host keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, requested path, user agent) for security and abuse prevention; these are deleted within 14 days.
Firefox bits we keep off by default
Lull is built on Firefox. Upstream telemetry, crash reporting, Pocket, Mozilla account sync prompts, and Normandy experiments are disabled in our builds. You can turn anything back on manually if you want.
Extensions
Add-ons you install from addons.mozilla.org or elsewhere have their own privacy policies and run with the permissions you grant them. Lull cannot guarantee their behavior.
Job applications
When you apply for a volunteer role through this site, your answers are sent to a private Discord channel for our team to review. We use the contact details you provide to follow up about your application. We do not retain applications longer than needed.
